This is the greatest app ever. It plays very well and so smoothly and even it is for free!

On Mac its free, BUT iPad and iPhone NOT! So its not a free app… And in manual address cannot find files(from XP and Vista-same problems).

I really love this app and having total access to all my media anywhere Im at. Two things that needs addressed/fixed. When pausing a video for more than a minute or more and then going back and playing it again the video freezes briefly while the audio starts. Then starts but the audio and video are out of sync. The audio is ahead of the video quite a bit. Only remeidy Ive found is to close the app and restart it then countinue where I left off and its perfect. One other issue is occasionally a black flash goes over the video. Doesnt hurt or affect anything its just annoying. Thanks!

Under the latest version of Mountain Lion I cant get this to run at all. Crashes immediately with no option but to quit.

Software Id gladly pay for.

Installed this on our two iPhone 4GS running version 6.1.3. Then downloaded ServeToMe on both our MacBook Pro and Alienware PC. Used the WiFi first. Worked great. We can access our music and videos over our wireless local area network. Then I set up StreamToMe on both phones using the External Address and Port numbers for the manual setup. Both phones can access both computers using the external 4G network of AT&T. Just read the instructions. It was very simple and straight forward. I did change both port numbers to numbers I wanted to use. Now we listen to our music on the go.

I know most people buy this app to stream movies, but it is also a great music player. I have a huge collection of music (Apple Lossless). I have spent hours creating play lists. Unlike many music streaming apps, StreamToMe will upload, display and play the many smart lists that I have created. Great App for the musically obsessed.

I have been using AirVideo on my iPhone and iPad for a while now and loves it. However, it does not allow me to watch my home streaming on my computer remotely. I have tried many other applications and solutions and they all failed to impress me. This is exactly what you need when you want to stream something to a remote location on a computer desktop. Works flawlessly!

This is my fav streamer and has been for years. Use this app as the client plus the ServeToMe app as the server to stream videos to all your devices. Highly recommended. Great quality and plays all file types I throw at it.

My source streaming server is an iMac 2006 with a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo processor. With my first 1080p x264 file, I was able to stream at 480p (max). The 720p was too much for my iMac apparently, as frames were dropping. On the StreamToMe interface, I wish there was a way to hide the left media listing pane, while a video is streaming. I would also have liked to see the movie listing to have used the cover photos embedded in the video files.

ServeToMe is installed on WHS streaming to 2 iMacs, a Macbook pro, 3 iPads and 4 iPhones, as well as to TVs via AppleTVs from these devices. One of the iMac is the first intel iMac bought in 2006. Works great and is a must have app. Just wish they had pc streamtome client.
